"Impressions based on the trailer"
Singer and actor Guru Randhawa, who is preparing for the release of his upcoming film *Shahkot*, has addressed the controversy sparked by protestors burning the movie's posters, which stemmed from concerns that the film supports Pakistan. He stressed that many of these reactions are based on initial perceptions from the trailer, urging the public to understand the film’s true narrative before making judgments.
Recently, the Shiv Sena Punjab organized a protest against *Shahkot*, during which demonstrators burned the film's posters and chanted slogans against Pakistan.
Speaking about the protests during a promotional event in Delhi, Guru said, "Until you meet me as an artiste, you can form any perception. Those who are opposing it feel the film is heading in a different direction."
