Virginia Giuffre Grateful for 'Love and Support' Following Car Accident

Virginia Giuffre, a key figure in the Jeffrey Epstein case, has expressed heartfelt thanks for the support she’s received while recovering from a serious car crash in Western Australia.

Virginia Giuffre, known for her prominent role in bringing forward allegations against Jeffrey Epstein, is currently recovering in hospital after a car crash left her with significant injuries. In a statement shared with the BBC, her family said she is “overwhelmed with gratitude” for the “outpouring of love and support” during her recovery.

The accident occurred on 24 March in Western Australia when a school bus collided with the car Giuffre was traveling in. Initially, she was "banged up and bruised" and returned home, but her condition worsened and she was later admitted to hospital for further treatment. Her family confirmed she remains in serious condition.

According to the family’s statement, the bus driver had a group of "distraught children" on board and left the scene to return them safely to school, promising to file a police report—which he did.

Giuffre, 41, shared a brief update on Instagram over the weekend, writing: “This year has been the worst start to a new year.” Her family later clarified that the post was originally intended for her private Facebook page.

At the time of the crash, Giuffre had been living in North Perth with her children and husband Robert. However, recent reports suggest that the couple have separated after 22 years of marriage.

Giuffre came into the public eye after accusing Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell of trafficking her to Prince Andrew when she was 17. Although Prince Andrew has denied the allegations, he reached a financial settlement with her in 2022. The agreement included a statement expressing regret over his connection to Epstein, without any admission of guilt or formal apology.

As Giuffre continues to recover, her family remains focused on her health and well-being, thanking the public for their continued support.
