Two Killed in Tragic Road Accident Near Abohar
A tragic accident occurred near Rampura village in Abohar subdivision, where two people lost their lives after a speeding car collided with their bike.
Atul Makkar, a resident of Bhagsar village, reported that his father, Dalip Kumar, and their neighbor, Subhash, were traveling from Bhagsar to Sadul Shahar in Rajasthan when the incident took place. The car struck their bike on Defence Road, dragging them for some distance before coming to a halt. Both victims died on the spot.
According to eyewitnesses, the car later crashed into a tree, but the driver managed to flee the scene. The bodies have been sent to the Abohar Civil Hospital mortuary.
The Wahab Wala police have registered a case against the unidentified driver under Sections 106(1), 324(4), and 324(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). An investigation is underway.
