Punjab Cabinet Announces Budget Session from March 21 to 28
The Punjab Cabinet has scheduled the state's Budget session from March 21 to 28, with the Budget proposals set to be presented on March 26.
The decision was taken during a meeting of the Punjab Council of Ministers, chaired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. In addition to Budget discussions, the Cabinet also approved the establishment of 40 new skill development schools and reviewed departmental reports from eight government departments.
The meeting, originally set for 11 am at the Chief Minister's residence, was delayed. Three ministers—Aman Arora, Laljit Singh Bhullar, and Dr. Baljit Kaur—arrived on time but left after waiting for 30 minutes when the meeting was postponed by an hour. The Cabinet eventually convened at 1 pm, with discussions lasting a little over an hour.
