Jalandhar Police Demolish Drug Trafficker’s Illegal Property in Major Crackdown
As part of the ongoing ‘Yudh Nashe De Virudh’ campaign, the Commissionerate Police Jalandhar has demolished an illegal property belonging to notorious drug trafficker Dharminder. The building, constructed on government land, was razed in a bid to dismantle the financial infrastructure of drug networks operating in the region.
Dharminder, a resident of Dhankiya Mohalla, Jalandhar, had allegedly built the structure using proceeds from his illicit drug trade. Since the property stood on illegally occupied government land, authorities took decisive action to remove it.
The demolition was carried out by a joint team of the Municipal Corporation and police, with heavy machinery deployed to bring down the structure. Security personnel were stationed at the site to ensure the operation proceeded smoothly and to prevent any disturbances.
According to police officials, Dharminder is a repeat offender, with six criminal cases registered against him under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
