Tamil Film Superstar Rajinikanth Hospitalized, in Stable Condition
The health condition of Tamil film superstar Rajinikanth, who was admitted to a corporate hospital late on Monday night, is stable. He is expected to undergo an elective procedure in the cath lab later today, according to a source.
Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi expressed his support for the actor on X, stating, “I stand with the millions of devoted fans of Thiru Rajnikanth around the globe, praying for his swift and smooth recovery.”
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin also wished the superstar a speedy recovery, while many of the actor’s fans shared their prayers and well-wishes on social media.
A hospital source noted, “His condition is stable after being admitted for digestive discomfort. He will undergo an elective procedure in the cath lab to address an issue near his abdomen, and will later be moved to a room.” The 73-year-old actor is expected to be discharged on Tuesday evening, the source added.
