Police Conduct Search at Music Producer Pinky Dhaliwal’s Residence in Sunanda Sharma Cheating Case
Mohali: The police conducted a search at music producer Pinky Dhaliwal’s house in Sector 71 today, seizing electronic devices and documents in connection with the Sunanda Sharma cheating case. Officials also confirmed that another police complaint had been filed against Dhaliwal.
The search followed a habeas corpus petition filed by Dhaliwal’s son, alleging his unlawful detention by Mataur police. With Dhaliwal’s two-day police custody ending today, the high court directed his release if he was not wanted in any other case.
Speaking to the media for the first time since the controversy erupted, Dhaliwal’s family dismissed all allegations. They claimed that singer Sunanda Sharma was like a family member and had been living in their house for the past six years.
